So .. i absolutely loved the SPL ppt presented at the All Shae meet in the cafeteria.. and i know most ppl in the audience liked it as well.. here s a chitter chatter conversation i heard between 2 TM's during the ppt:

TM1: Macha.. this SPL thing is damn cool da... i hear we ll get paid and get special treats from the owners if we perform well..
TM 2 : Oh really? nice.. i wish they would also hike our annual review scores based on our cricket performance..
TM1: hehe.. they are apparently even ordering biryani for the finals.. not just chicken .. but mutton as well..

At this point, my mind wandered off to the chicken biryani at Aaha Andhra in the food court. Just as i was dreaming of sinking my teeth into a juicy chicken leg, I was quickly brought back to the meeting thanks to the cheering and the shouting of owners' names. So the SPL has 4 owners .. Mr.Nawab, Mr.Gates, Mr.Mangalore Bajji and Big Daddy.

As the ppt progressed, i quickly made mental notes on things i had to do to be a part of SPL . After a lot of internal brainstorming i came up with the following:

1. Acquire a skill set in the game of cricket- namely : batting , bowling or worst case scenario- cheerleading
2. Send in my nomination
3. Break 4 coconuts every morning at the Shiva temple and hope someone picks me for their team
